 How To Boost Affiliate And
Associate Program Results

Here is the insider scoop to making the most of your
affiliate program. Do what is suggested in this report
and you should see quite a jump in your contact list
and results in a few months.

"A Simple Formula"

By Terry Dean

Let me begin by telling you the story of two Midwestern
men. They're both named Bob.

They have a lot of things in common. They're both
married, have two children, and work long hours making
a living.

They're not satisfied with the Status Quo. They want
something more out of life.

Guess what? They're both subscribers to this
publication. They want an Internet business and they
know the best way to create one is to listen to people
who've already done it.

The first Bob decides to jump out and try it.
He has listened to the expert's advice so he's
going to be careful and keep all of his beginning
tests very small.

He joins a free affiliate program so he can start out
without having to spend a lot of precious time on
product development. He loses $35 on his first ad.

He tries a different ad and earns a profit of $10.
It's not much, but it's a start. He places a few
more ads and earns $115.

He then learns that it's better to drive prospects
to an autoresponder than directly to an affiliate
program. So, he purchases an autoresponder follow-up
system and puts up a free report (provided to him
from the affiliate program he's promoting).

He promotes the autoresponder system and keeps on
earning small profits such as $50 here and $200 there.
What's happening though is that while he's profiting,
he's also building an opt-in email list at the same
time.

After he promoted the program for 41 days, he decides
to send an email to his "opt-in list." He references
the report they requested when they signed up on his
list and then he gives them a recommendation for
another affiliate program. This one-time offer brings
in $485 immediately.

Again, this isn't a big amount, but it's a lot more
than he made when he wasn't doing anything. It's
a start.

Where do you think Bob will be 12 months from now?

Our second friend Bob subscribes to the same Internet
marketing publications. He reads the same articles.
He buys the same training products.

He decides to wait until he learns more before he
gets started because he just doesn't feel ready. He
doesn't want to risk losing any of the money he's
worked so hard for.

One month turns into two and soon a whole year
has passed. Where do you think he will be 12 months
from now...or even 5 years from now?

Getting started is the hardest part...

There are so many opinions about how to start an
Internet business that many people end up in total
confusion and frustration. They've heard 17 different
ways to build a web site, 82 ways to advertise online,
and 13 ways to increase their profits.

What they don't know is where to start.

For many people, this just causes them to keep
studying...but they never get started.

I've termed this the "Fat Head" syndrome.

You fill your brain with marketing information
until it feels like it's going to explode...but
then you never put the information to the test.

You end up looking at the Internet like a deer
looks at the headlights of an oncoming truck.
You know you should "do something," but you're
too paralyzed with fear to move.

One of the best things you could ever do is
to get started right now. Sign-up for a free
affiliate program and place a very low cost ad.

If you're an outright beginner, then assign
yourself a specific date to get started. Write
it on your calender. Pick a date 30 days or less
from today and write "June 5th will be the 1st
day of my new business."

Keep it simple. You don't even have to
get a web site to start using this simple
success formula I'm about to reveal to you.

Purchasing your own domain should be one of
your early goals, but it isn't 100% essential
for the first couple of ads you place for
an affiliate program.

Just follow our directions below and then expand
into other areas after you've gotten started.

1. Sign-Up For a High Paying Affiliate Program

This is step one and probably the cheapest and
easiest way to get started online. Creating
your own information product takes a lot of time.
It also takes a lot of testing and research to
pick a winning product.

So most beginners will find that affiliate
programs present one of the best ways to get
started. Most of them are free to join, already
have a product offer, and have the sales copy
written for you.

2. Set Up An Autoresponder

The key to earning profits online is building
your opt-in email list. It is the key that
unlocks the door to Internet profits.

You need to pick out a free report given
to you by the affiliate program you join.
You post this to your autoresponder system
and then you advertise the autoresponder,
not the affiliate web site given to you.

This is VITAL to your success. You must
generate leads to the autoresponder instead
of just sending them to the web site.

You want to capture the leads for future
follow-up. The money isn't in the first
sale to your prospects. It's in following
up on them and offering them more similar
products in the future.

For example, if they purchased an Internet
course, then you could also offer them:

* Web Hosting
* Autoresponder Systems
* Internet Seminars
* Reprint Rights
* And more

If you have their name and email address,
then you're able to create the whole
follow-up system. If you just send your
leads to a web site, then you have one
chance to earn a profit...win or lose.

Note: You don't have to worry about all this
right now. Just get the autoresponder up
with your first free report. You can create
and sign-up for more programs later on to
send to your list.

Here are just a few of the places you can
get follow-up autoresponders from:

3. Write a Killer Classified Ad

You'll find that a majority of affiliate
programs have their web site ad copy written
and even some autoresponder follow-up ad
copy written, but they often don't have
short "classified" ads written up for any
of the free reports they may provide you
with.

PLUS, you will find much better success by
writing your own short classified ad to
separate you from everyone else who may
be advertising the same opportunity.

All good ads have a minimum of three parts
to them:

Part One - They Grab Attention.
Part Two - They Make a Specific Promise.
Part Three - They Ask Your Reader to Take Action.

Let's look at an effective classified ad
we've used to spot the three parts in action.

NEVER BEFORE SEEN Formula For Turning an Electronic
Newsletter Into a $20,000+ a Month Profit Stream!

The attention grabbing statement is the
first two lines. It reaches out, grabs you, and
makes you want to know more.

The next two lines give a powerful and specific
promise of what is possible. The final line
tells you what action to take. We want you to
send mail to our autoresponder system.

4. Run Your Ad in an Ezine

Start off slowly and run your ad in one ezine.
Purchase a sponsorship ad if they are affordable
because they will have much better response rates
for you than the classified section.

Pick one that you are already reading. If you're
reading it, then other people are probably reading
it as well.

Be careful not to pay too much attention to
subscriber numbers. Just because an ezine claims
300,000 subscribers doesn't mean it will produce
30 times the results of a 10,000 subscriber ezine.

In almost every case, the larger ezine never produces
as well as it should compared to it's size. I've
found most of my best bang for my buck advertising
from 20,000 subscriber ezines and below.

5. Pyramid Your Profits Into More Ads

Don't blow your first profits on a hamburger
and a Coke. If your first $30 ad brings in
$100, then put that $100 back into more
ads. If you bring in $300, put $300 back
into advertising.

Keep expanding your profits right back into
more advertising in the beginning. You may
generate a profitable income soon, but work
on growing your advertising budget for the
first few weeks.

Ezine advertising is the place to start for
a new business, but you will also probably
expand into pay-per-click search engines
and other forms of advertising as your business
grows.

6. Backend them.

Have you ever watched the informercials such
as Don Lapre, Tony Robbins, Ron LeGrand,
and a hundred others. All of them work
on the same principle.

They sell a low priced "frontend" offer
for $39, $49, or even $97. This is not
where their money comes from. They LOSE
money selling this type of package. They'll
often lose $10 to $50 acquiring this first
customer.

If they generate 10,000 new customers, then
they lose $200,000. The money comes in as
their backend follow-up systems go to work.
They all have higher ticket packages they
sell on the backend...$400, $1,000, $5,000
and up.

The front end package is there for one purpose.
It's there to generate leads for the rest of
their product offers. They generate ever
increasing profits from their backend offers.

They send out direct mail offers, make
telemarketing offers, send faxes, and do
everything possible to continue to contact
their customers.

For an Internet marketer starting out, the
system works like this. You generate email
leads and sell your first affiliate program.
Contact your leads a couple of weeks later with
another affiliate offer.

Another couple of weeks passes...Follow up
with another related offer. This should
all be built into the autoresponder follow-up
system.

You generate the lead one time...Then you
follow up to infinity generating more profits
with each mailing from the same group of
prospects.

Think about how much more profitable this is
than just simply advertising an affiliate program.
That gives you one chance. This type of
system gives you multiple chances and multiple
streams of automated Internet income.

If you lose money on your first ad, it isn't
over. You can still earn it back on your
follow-up mailings. So, even if you screw
something up, you can still earn a good
profit.

When it is all said and done though...Are you
ready to get started? Which Bob are you going
to follow?
